A Visit by a Roman Soldier

Optimo Lucius came to visit out school. He told us all about his life as a Roman Soldier. He taught us about his armour and his weapons which were cleverly engineered by the Romans to make them ultimate fighters!

Each part of his uniform has a purpose, right down to his belt and sandals!
